Keynotes that Challenge and Clarify
Laurent Kinet delivers keynotes shaped by experience, not theory. His talks draw on two decades spent building startups, advising corporate leaders, and leading humanitarian work — always with a focus on impact, clarity, and systems that actually work. Whether on innovation strategy, technology’s role in society, or leadership under constraint, each keynote invites reflection, shifts perspective, and offers practical tools to move forward.
Open Innovation
& Corporate Venturing
Making startup–corporate collaboration work in the real world.
This is my core field: helping large organizations engage with startups in ways that go beyond buzzwords and into impact. Based on 20+ years of entrepreneurial practice, my book Corporate Venturing, a Framework, and my work with Novable, I deliver actionable insight into venture clienting, scouting models, governance structures, and cultural integration. I speak honestly about what works — and what doesn’t — when innovation meets the realities of corporate life.
Tech, Power
& Society We’re Building
Technology is not just a tool — it’s a force reshaping power, policy, and people. In these talks, I explore the unintended consequences of innovation, the silent collusion between politics and technology, and how corporate actors can navigate this evolving landscape responsibly. Inspired by global trends and critical thinkers, I invite leaders to rethink their role in a world increasingly governed by code, capital, and control.
What happens when innovation escapes the lab and shapes the world?
From the Field: Lessons from Humanitarian Missions
What 12+ years of missions taught me about systems, leadership, and purpose.
Alongside tech, I have led dental and surgical missions in Madagascar with Amalgache — and I now working on launching Surgeons Without Borders. These experiences taught me what it means to build trust, solve problems with constrained resources, and lead across cultures. Surprisingly, they echo deeply in the worlds of innovation and business: navigating complexity, managing risk, and aligning action with impact. This keynote blends human insight with strategy — for teams that want to lead with both clarity and conscience.
